WOW, time really does fly and we are in the second quarter of our Kiwanis Year!! I hope you get off the sidelines and “GET IN THE GAME” at our MidWinter Conference in Belgrade, MT on February 23-25th.

The Conference will look a little different, we’ll be focusing on GAME PLANS for you and your club.  Security strategies, promotion presentations, member recruitment and retention, and how about a course on Artificial Intelligence! There will be team huddles, timeouts, and scoring drives.

Friday starts off with a Team Lunch and we’ll kick off the weekend at 1PM with our first Game Changer.  Circle K Governor, Kendall Stokes, and her team will be joining us on Friday night for a Tailgate Party.  Please wear your favorite team shirt, jersey, or outfit to the Party. How about a prize for the best dressed Tailgater? Let your creative juices flow and we’ll kick back and have some FUN!

Saturday is GAME DAY!! We’ll provide you with plays to help you get that 1st down and start your scoring drive. We’ll end the day with the SUPERBOWL BANQUET and MVP Awards.

We will have some special guests, Commissioner Jackie Sue McFarlin (International Trustee) and Offensive Coordinators Makenzie Carroll, Angela Mendoza, Ron Fischer and of course, our Kiwanis Team.

I hope you will attend, cheer loud and kick that winning GOAL!!

BEEF IT UP!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have added 24 new members in the 1st quarter of our “Beef up Kiwanis” promotion. The winner for adding the most new members is Bitterroot Valley-Hamilton, bringing in 6 new members. A special tip of the hat goes to their President, Troy Hansen, for sponsoring 4 new members. Troy needs to sponsor one more member to receive his Ruby K Award. Let’s cheer him on!

Kudo’s to Raleigh Heitzman of Lewistown and Keith Bostron of Sidney for each sponsoring a new member into their club. Missoula-Sentinel also added a new member, but the sponsor was not listed. PLEASE Club Secretaries, be sure to put in the sponsor, so I can acknowledge them.

I hope you will join us in February at the Mid-Winter Conference, where we can huddle up and share ideas on how to improve our clubs by adding more members. It will be well worth your time and your club will grow stronger.

To date, I have visited with 3 smaller clubs and am working on helping them build their numbers. Next week I am off to another club to try and help them. REMEMBER, the best way to add members is to ASK!

See you in Belgrade!

Ron Fischer - Membership Chair
