On July 5th, Ron & Esther Fischer and Jack and I traveled to Laurel to attend a meeting of the newest club in Montana. We had a great visit but did learn the sad news of the health issues of their president Paulette Wengeler. Please keep her in your prayers as well as this new club.

July 12th Jack and I traveled to Butte to attend a divisional meeting held in conjunction with the Sunshine Kiwanis Club picnic. Thank you to Cheryl Peterslie for arranging this meeting. It was great to see old friends and make new ones.

July 19th saw me going with Ron & Esther Fischer to Missoula to scope out sites for the 2024 convention and attend a meeting of the Sentinel Kiwanis Club. It is always exciting to meet with fellow Kiwanians and learn of their successes. We met several new members of this club!

Convention month is here! I sincerely hope you are not missing out on what is shaping up to be a great time. If you only knew what goes on behind the scenes to put on a convention of this magnitude!

The theme of this year’s convention is “Focus on the Future”. What better way to embrace the future, than to learn about keeping our kids safe in the human trafficking panel, and training them to be leaders with our SLP roundtables.

I sincerely hope to see you at the convention or in my travels in the next couple of months.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”
- Denis Waitely

Be happy, stay safe and build your Kiwanis club by recruiting new members so that we can continue to build the future for our children!

As always, my phone is always on. Do not hesitate to call or email me your questions, concerns, and/or ideas!
