Capital City Kiwanis Club - Cozy Up with a Book
The Capital City Kiwanis Club stand features items showcasing recent projects and the skills, talents, and geography of our club members. Throughout the Kiwanis year, the club volunteered in multiple locations. Members crafted handmade Valentines for residents in a local nursing facility. The club provided children’s books for a social justice book drive in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. during the winter. Club members are mentoring students in the newly forming Key Club at East Helena High School and partnered with them on their blanket project where the students volunteered many hours to make blankets for patients at the local cancer center.
