WOW! Just returned from ICON in Minneapolis. Montana was well represented by 24 delegates!
So much good news coming out of this convention! Great speakers, great food, great seeing old friends and making new ones, and the OAK RIDGE BOYS!
Now for some highlights —
FIRST – Our own “Cathy” Tutty was elected to the position of International Trustee!
Congratulations Cathy! I know you will represent Montana well in this position.
SECOND – Amiya Williams, our CKI president, was elected to the International Board of Trustees for CKI! Not only that but the Montana District of CKI received an award for the largest member increase! Congratulations CKI! You make your Kiwanis family proud!
THIRD – We will have 3 International past presidents at DCON in August...Sue Petrisin, Art Riley, and Montana’s own Dave Curry! Not only that, but we will have an International Trustee – Jackie Sue McFarland, and our area director Vicki Hermanson!
So MONTANA KIWANIANS – IF you miss this one – you will be missing out on a great opportunity to visit with the best of the best, great education, great fellowship, and LOTS of FUN!!! Only two more weeks to get registered so don’t put it off! REGISTER NOW!!
Also, time is up on ordering your DCON shirt and getting it delivered at DCON – however, your Governor may have some influence on getting a little extension on that date – so get those shirt orders in!
Kiwanians – take advantage of the education, fun, fellowship & excitement of attending DCON!
