Across Montana each day a number of children face the reality of being pulled from their homes due to a crisis situation. The focus of the program is to provide basic necessities for a child who would otherwise enter a foster care situation without anything, except possibly but not necessarily the clothing on their backs. Kiwanis members have the opportunity to provide this child something to cling to, taking the opportunity to make a difference, one child, and one community, at a time.
The Montana District of Kiwanis is requesting Kiwanians around the state to help support the Service Leadership Programs at the District Level. What can you do? We have partnered with Smith’s Food Community Rewards program. If you shop at Smith’s Food you can go online and link your rewards card to the Montana District. The Montana District will receive a rebate of your purchases that we will use toward helping the SLP Service Leadership Programs on the district level.
Most small tax-exempt organizations whose annual gross receipts are normally $50,000 or less are required to electronically submit Form 990-N, also known as the e-Postcard, unless they choose to file a complete Form 990 or Form 990-EZ instead. If you do not file your e-Postcard on time, the IRS will send you a reminder notice. The revocation of the organization’s tax-exempt status will not take place until the filing due date of the third year.
