Each and every one of us are confronting unsettling times, uncertainty and quickly changing landscapes. This is affecting everything in our lives including our Kiwanis family and plans. We are committed to the health, safety, and welfare of our youth as our guiding value. Because of our commitment, we have made decisions that favor health and safety of those we serve by cancelling large gatherings.
Local Kiwanis Clubs will be making their own challenging decisions over the next day, weeks, and maybe months to determine their activity and meeting schedules. During these rapid changes, our children of all ages in our communities will require encouragement and assistance. Local Kiwanis groups will find creative new ways to serve the children. We have a tremendous opportunity to invent and implement new ways to accomplish our goals. We might create new partnerships with agencies, schools, businesses, and other non-profit organizations. We could foster alignments with other service groups addressing our communities’ needs. Each community and their solutions will be different and perhaps unique.
As Kiwanians, we welcome new members who believe in giving to our communities and our youth. Today, our needs may be greater so we encourage you to contribute and participate locally. We are a strong organization committed to being the difference for our world.
We invite you to check out a Kiwanis Club in your area.
